This Privacy Policy explains how Geo.Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the ELKASHIER point-of-sale software and this website, elkashier.cloud. We have written it in plain language because, honestly, there is very little to explain: ELKASHIER is an offline application, and your business data never leaves your own computer.
1. Who we are
ELKASHIER is a point-of-sale (POS) and billing application for barbershops, hair salons and beauty salons, developed and published by Geo.Tech. You can reach us at any time at contact@elkashier.cloud.
2. Your business data stays on your device
ELKASHIER runs 100% offline. Everything you enter into the app — sales, invoices, products, prices, barbers and their commissions, customers, and reports — is stored locally on the device where the app is installed. This information is not transmitted to us, is not uploaded to any server, and we have no access to it whatsoever.
Backups are created by you and stored where you choose (for example, a USB stick). You are in full control of that data at all times, and you are responsible for keeping your backups safe.
3. Information you provide through this website
If you use the contact form on this website, we ask for the information needed to reply to you:
- Name and email address (required, so we can respond);
- Phone / WhatsApp number, country and shop name (optional);
- the message you write to us.
This information is sent to our support inbox by email and is used only to answer your enquiry, provide support, and — if you ask — issue an activation key. We do not use it for advertising and we do not add you to any marketing list.
4. Activation
ELKASHIER is activated once with a licence key that we provide. Online activation confirms the key against our activation service; if your shop has no internet connection, a manual (offline) activation path is available. Activation involves the licence key and basic technical details needed to validate the licence — it does not transmit your sales or customer data.
5. Cookies and preferences
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It may store your language preference locally in your browser so the site remembers which language you prefer. That preference stays in your browser and is not shared with us.
6. How we use information
- To reply to your messages and provide customer support;
- To issue and validate licence/activation keys;
- To improve the software and this website;
- To comply with applicable law.
7. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share the limited information you send us only with service providers that help us operate (for example, our email hosting), or where required by law. That is all.
8. Data retention
We keep the messages you send us for as long as needed to support you and to keep a record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but because the app itself stores your business data locally and offline, the most sensitive information stays under your own control.
10. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have sent us through this website. Just email contact@elkashier.cloud and we will help.
11. Children
ELKASHIER is business software intended for shop owners and staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the software or website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
